This monumental event will be happening on Sunday, September 8th 2024. This will be the last experience with both outstanding bands preforming together onstage before the end of 2024.

Starting off with their performances in Hollywood, Florida Deep purple and YES will have 19 stops along the way, bringing their sound to many different souls from around the world. Winding their collaboration off in Scranton, Pennsylvania for one epic Finale. Deep purple then return to Europe to continue their tour.

Deep purple originally started as psychedelic and progressive rock then shifted over to more hard rock with one of their hit albums “Deep Purple in Rock” which sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Deep purple broke the world record for “Globes Loudest Band” and still hold the title.

With the release of “Smoke on the Water” in their 1972 album “Machine Head” they reached the souls of everyone with the guitar riff. This song is considered their signature song and is one of the most iconic rock pieces of all time. Based on a true story of Deep Purple were in the city to record a new song and they saw fire that burnt down the Montreux casino where they were due to record in the next few weeks. Deep purple have released an incredible 65 studio / live albums and 55 singles where they have spent over 280 hours in the top 100 charts. Deep purple members, Blackmore, lord, Paice, Gillian, Glover, Coverdale, Evans and Hughes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in early 2016. Deep purple now have over six million monthly listeners on Spotify alone and it continues growing. They may have been playing since 1968 but they never go out of style.

Simultaneously, YES have been operating since 1968 and have hit songs such as “Owner of a lonely Heart”, “Roundabout” and “Love will find a way” as well as their latest album “Mirror to the sky” and have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. They are one of the most influential and long lasting progressive rock bands to this day. They have received five nominations for their music between 1985 and 1992 and were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2017.

With both of these incredible bands performing together you can only expect phenomenal shows and back to back excitement. Deep Purple and Yes will be showing their final performance together on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
