Slipknot & Hatebreed at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain

Heavy metal shockers, Slipknot will be coming to Pavilion at Montage Mountain on Wednesday 13th May 2015! They will be smashing the stage with support from Hatebreed. This line-up is one not to miss, with their forceful guitar rhythms and experimental NU metal sound, Slipknot are back! With a brand new album in the makings along with new masks to be exposed on tour. You can expect big things, including never heard before on this U.S spring tour!

9 piece hard-core, NU metal band, Slipknot became popular for it's extreme powerful music and dramatic stage costume/performances. The group first consisted of an unlikely line up of 3 percussionists, 2 guitarists, 1 bassist, a DJ, a sampler and a lead singer. With their now iconic image which consists of individual masks for each member, hardly revealing their true identity.
They describe this to be a big part of their personalities, a sort of extension of their body. It has become their statement piece, as important as the music, to the band and to fans all over the world! Compared to artists such as Limp Bizkit and Korn, Slipknot were a key ingredient to the NU metal era in the late 90's, early 2000's. The genre fuses elements of metal with unexpected genre's such as – hip hop, funk, and grunge.
Six years since their last album was released, fans were in extreme anticipation, the band returned with ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’, in 2014 and are now back on tour to celebrate the release along with old classic tracks to propitiate fans and newcomers alike.
