Peach Music Festival – Saturday [CANCELLED] at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain

The Peach Music Festival was founded by the Allman Brothers Band in 2012, located at the base of Montage Mountain, the scenery is amazing, and the outdoor amphitheater provides a stunning backdrop to enjoy the music. The nearby ski resort is transformed into a water park, and with the entire festival taking place outdoors, it is perfect for nature lovers, not to mention the backdrop of the mountain and all the fresh air will have you feeling great. There are two stages, the Peach Stage and the smaller Mushroom Stage inside the water park, which you as a festival goer will have full access to. On site, you will find a huge array of vendors selling food from local farmers markets to carnival type foods, and drinks will be available, including soft drinks, microbrews, mixed drinks, and more. Multiple ATMs are set up around the camping and festival grounds in case you need cash, but most vendors will accept credit cards.

Please come prepared, summer in Scranton is often quite hot and sunny, and there isn’t a lot of shade, so bringing something to protect yourself from the sun will make your experience much better. Average highs are in the low 70s but have been known to spike into the mid-80s. Precipitation is quite high in the summer months too, so also be prepared for rain.
