Fall Out Boy are one of the biggest pop rock bands out there right now, formed of Peter Wentz, Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley. Wentz is the band's lyricist and Stump is the primary composer, a magical and talented duo! The band's major-label breakthrough came in 2005 with 'Sugar We're Going Down' and 'Dance Dance' going to double platinum. The band were quickly transformed into superstars and Wentz a huge celebrity. The band have since realised incredible success, winning Grammy awards and reaching number 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 'Infinity On High' album. Fall Out Boy take a lot of inspiration from emo group The Get Up Kids and are well known for blending both pop and rock influences.
Paramore are another hugely popular band formed in 2004. The band released their debut album in 2005, with their second following 2 years later (certified platinum and gold). Paramore have recently launched their fourth self-titled album and are now touring with Fall Out Boy for the very first time! Their music is widely regarded as alternative rock, power pop and pop punk without whiny or bratty emo-like sounds! Paramore have long expressed appreciation for Fall Out Boy amongst other inspirational bands Blink 182, Panic! at the Disco and Jimmy Eat World.
